    Yes. You may designate your gift to support a specific ministry or the needs of our retired and elderly Sisters. If no designation is provided, your donation will be directed to the area of greatest need, allowing us to respond where support is needed most.

  • Are donations tax-deductible?

     Yes! The Bernardine Franciscan Sisters are a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Upon receiving your gift, we will mail you an acknowledgement of your donation. A charitable contribution may lower your income taxes if you itemize. For tax advice please consult a tax professional.

  • What is the deadline for year-end tax credit?

    To receive credit for the current tax year:


    • Online and credit card donations must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on December 31.
    • Donations by mail must be postmarked no later than December 31.
